Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Drafter to join the Drafting team at the Materials and Fuels Complex. You will prepare complex drawings using 2D line work and 3D modeling, assist engineers with dimensions, tolerances and component selection, and perform calculations to ensure buildable designs.

The role involves collaboration across disciplines and may include field documentation support as needed. Strong CAD skills with Creo, AutoCAD, or Revit are required for this multi-level posting.

Qualifications

• 2D line work and 3D modeling experience.
• Experience reading drawings in construction or related industries.
• Familiarity with design parameters and part selection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex new drawings and drawing changes using 2D/3D methods.
• Assist engineers in determining dimensions, tolerances, and component selection.
• Perform geometric and tolerance stack-up calculations.
• Collaborate with engineers to specify parts and assemblies.
• Provide field/as-built documentation support.
