Job summary

ICI Homes, Florida's Custom Home Builder, is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Drafter/AutoCAD Technician to join our Corporate Office in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of residential drafting experience and be proficient in AutoCAD 2019, with strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Florida Building Codes are applied during drafting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of residential drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2019 is required.
• Associate's Degree or Technical Degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Codes.
• Design experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master plans and construction drawing files.
• Produce accurate construction documents for production and custom homes.
• Create lot-fit matrices for new residential plans with Sales/Marketing/Development.
• Process and maintain plan revisions to customized home designs.
• Maintain records of revised construction details.
• Manage current DWF files for printing and distribution.
• Support Sales in developing customized home designs within timelines.
• Adhere to CAD Department policies and ensure high-quality documents.
• Prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Apply Florida Building Codes in the drafting process.

ICI Homes, Florida's Custom Home Builder, is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Drafter/AutoCAD Technician to join our Corporate Office in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of residential drafting experience and be proficient in AutoCAD 2019. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is methodical, organized, and able to communicate effectively while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain master plans and construction drawing files.
• Produce accurate construction documents for production and custom homes, including lot-specific plan drawings generated from Customer Option Forms under the direction of the Team Leader.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Development teams to create lot-fit matrices for new residential plans.
• Process and maintain ongoing plan revisions to customized home designs to meet customer requests.
• Maintain accurate records of revised construction details.
• Manage current DWF files of customized plans for printing and distribution as needed.
• Support the Sales team in developing customized home designs within established timelines.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to CAD Department policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality construction documents.
• Effectively prioritize, multitask, and complete assignments within designated deadlines.
• Apply working knowledge of current Florida Building Codes throughout the drafting process.
