ICI Homes in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a skilled Drafter/AutoCAD Technician to join our Jacksonville Division. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of residential drafting experience and is proficient in AutoCAD 2019.

We offer a detail-oriented, collaborative environment where you will produce construction documents, support the Sales team, and ensure adherence to Florida Building Codes in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• 3-5 years of residential drafting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2019
• Associate's Degree or Technical Degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of current Florida Building Codes
• Design experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsabilidades

• Maintain master plans and construction drawing files.
• Produce accurate construction documents for production and custom homes, including lot-specific plan drawings generated from Customer Option Forms under the direction of the Team Leader.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Development teams to create lot-fit matrices for new residential plans.
• Process and maintain ongoing plan revisions to customized home designs to meet customer requests.
• Maintain accurate records of revised construction details.
• Manage current DWF files of customized plans for printing and distribution as needed.
• Support the Sales team in developing customized home designs within established timelines.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to CAD Department policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality construction documents.
• Effectively prioritize, multitask, and complete assignments within designated deadlines.
• Apply working knowledge of current Florida Building Codes throughout the drafting process.
