Job summary

ICI Homes, Florida's Custom Home Builder, is seeking a skilled Drafter/AutoCAD Technician to join our Daytona Beach corporate office. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of residential drafting experience and is proficient in AutoCAD 2019, with strong organizational and communication skills.

This role focuses on producing construction documents, lot-fit matrices, and revisions for production and custom homes while ensuring adherence to Florida Building Codes in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Technical Degree in Drafting/Architecture preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of Florida Building Codes
• Design experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Maintain master plans and construction drawing files.
• Produce accurate construction documents for production and custom homes, including lot-specific plan drawings generated from Customer Option Forms under the direction of the Team Leader.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Development teams to create lot-fit matrices for new residential plans.
• Process and maintain ongoing plan revisions to customized home designs to meet customer requests.
• Maintain accurate records of revised construction details.
• Manage current DWF files of customized plans for printing and distribution as needed.
• Support the Sales team in developing customized home designs within established timelines.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to CAD Department policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality construction documents.
• Effectively prioritize, multitask, and complete assignments within designated deadlines.
• Apply working knowledge of current Florida Building Codes throughout the drafting process.

ICI Homes, Florida's Custom Home Builder, is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Drafter/AutoCAD Technician to join our Corporate Office in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of residential drafting experience and be proficient in AutoCAD 2019. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is methodical, organized, and able to communicate effectively while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
