Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Rancho Cordova seeks a mechanical designer with 5–10 years’ drafting experience to create precision layouts for mission-critical RF and microwave products. You’ll prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings of parts and assemblies, support project structuring and documentation, and verify drawings against internal and industry standards.

Proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor is required; experience with PDM/Vault, Altium, PADs, and MasterControl is valued.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical field (required).
  • AS degree in Drafting, Design, or similar (preferred).
  • Senior-level experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent (required).
  • Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling, dimensioning, and GD&T tolerancing (required).
  • Altium/board layout experience (advantage).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required).
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizenship/permanent resident status).

  • Operate plotters, printers, and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings.
  • Interface effectively with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels.

Salary Range:

$44,500.00-$59,300.000
