Job summary

Prince Service & Manufacturing in Macon, GA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter to join our team. Read blueprints, create detailed CAD drawings, and ensure designs meet engineering standards.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, sharp attention to detail, and strong communication. You’ll review designs for manufacturability and produce BOMs and accurate drawings, contributing to on-time project delivery.

Drafters prepare technical drawings of machinery, robotics, and other mechanical devices in industries such as manufacturing. This usually involves the use of computer aided design (CAD) software. Deadlines are of extreme importance in this field, so a mechanical drafter should expect to work more than a 40-hour work week as deadlines approach. Mechanical drafters must work well with little supervision, have excellent concentration, and have attention to mathematical detail. Excellent attention to detail and solid communication skills are also necessary in this position
