Job summary

NOV Hydra Rig is seeking a Drafter in Fort Worth, TX to transform red lines or sketches into precise manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. You will work closely with engineers and designers to meet project schedules and standards.

Responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, verifying accuracy, and maintaining records while collaborating with the engineering team. The role requires a strong eye for detail and 3+ years drafting experience in oil and gas preferred.

Qualifications

  • SolidWorks knowledge is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Degree/Diploma in drafting or engineering is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with other CAD software is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
