As a Drafter, you will be responsible for NOV Hydra Rig's drafting needs, working closely with engineers and designers. Your primary task will be to transform red lines or sketches into precise manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. This role is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and requires timely completion of drafting tasks as per project schedules.

Qualifications & Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a drafting role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Degree/Diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with other CAD software is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
