Commodore Homes LLC, a Cavco Industries division, is hiring drafters with AutoCAD experience to support modular home production in Indiana. We value accurate, well-coordinated drawings that speed permitting and production processes.

We will train motivated individuals with strong problem solving and teamwork skills, offering competitive benefits and a path to growth within a progressive construction industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and revise detailed drawings for Literatures, Permits, Production Packages / Working Drawings.
• Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Meet deadlines to reduce bottlenecks and maintain a smooth workflow.

We are hiring drafters with experience in AutoCAD and/or a background in housing construction. However, we will train motivated individuals who have no prior experience but possess the ability to evolve alongside a progressive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise detailed drawings for: Literatures, Permits, Production Packages / Working Drawings
• Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required. College degree in related field preferred but not required
• Must be proficient with computers, communication and problem solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
