Job summary

J.J. Taylor Companies is seeking a Draft Technician to service and repair draft beer systems at customer locations. You will respond to service requests, provide estimates, and perform maintenance on taps and lines across accounts.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined with strong customer service skills and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include planning routes for overnight calls, training new staff, and ensuring parts and equipment function to standard.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2–3 years related field-plumbing experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for draft beer systems and taps.
• Provide estimates for draft beer systems meeting customer needs.
• Service malfunctioning draft beer systems and test parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on taps and lines when required.
• Train newly hired Draft Line Cleaners.
• Plan routes for overnight service calls.
