Job summary

Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, LLC is seeking a Draft Service Representative to service and maintain draft beer systems for customers in the Houston area. You will clean and service dispensing equipment, build relationships with restaurants, bars, and local breweries, and ensure products flow smoothly.

The role requires lifting up to 160 lbs, daily travel within the service territory, and strict adherence to safety and alcohol handling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year general work experience preferred.
• 2 years technical experience; draft lines or kegs experience a strong plus.
• Military experience may substitute in some cases.
• Daily in-person travel within Silver Eagle service territories.
• A valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C guidelines.
• Smartphone with data capability required.

Responsibilities

• Service draught lines and document per Company policy.

• Maintains a Company supplied toolbox with all supplies necessary to complete jobs.
• Maintain knowledge of Silver Eagle’s complete and growing portfolio of Brands and Packages.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Install proper Point of Sale (P.O.S.) per Company policy to meet account needs and maximize product sales.
• Work hours may vary daily due to business needs.
• Safely drive assigned company vehicle.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards as needed.

Position Summary:

Draft Service Reps are the experts in draft beer systems and keep the beer flowing for Silver Eagle Distributors customers in the Houston area. This role provides cleaning and services for draft beer dispensing equipment all while building community connection in a wide variety of restaurants, bars & local breweries.

What You'll Do:

• Service draught lines and complete documentation per Company policy


• Provide technical help with routine tap-ins, repairs, and troubleshooting service issues


• Maintains a Company supplied tool box with all supplies necessary to complete jobs


• Maintain knowledge of Silver Eagle’s complete and growing portfolio of Brands and Packages


• Build customer relationships at the store level


• Install proper Point of Sale (P.O.S.) per Company and account policy, to meet account needs and maximize product sales


• Continually strive to achieve the number one sales position in each account with proper P.O.S. to ensure Silver Eagle dominance


• Follows and strictly enforce product Code Date Policy; informs management of potential code date problems


• Practice "Safety Always" by adhering to safe working practices, Company policies, rules, and regulations. Correct obvious hazards immediately or report to supervisor if not immediately correctable


• Safely able to drive assigned company vehicle


• Work hours may vary daily due to business needs

What You Need to Succeed:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old


• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required


• One (1) year of general work experience preferred


• 2 years of technical experience. Prior experience with draught lines or kegs, a strong plus


• Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements


• Daily, in person travel within the service territories of Silver Eagle required


• A valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record

• Must have a smart phone with a camera and data capability

The Physical Requirements:

• This position requires lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling kegs weighing 160 lbs.


• Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)


• Ability to operate a pallet jack, dolly, and six-wheeler cart


• Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a time


• Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)


• Frequent driving distances between 0-75 miles in one sitting


• Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow


• Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions


• Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes
