Robert Chick Fritz, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Draft Beer Service Technician in Belleville, IL. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, install new systems, and provide dependable on-site service to bars, restaurants, and venues.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience with draft beer systems, strong mechanical ability, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Physical work including lifting is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in refrigeration, plumbing, or related field preferred.
• Experience with draft beer systems installation or repair is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and move kegs weighing up to ~165 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on faucets, couplers, and related dispensing equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble draft system hardware for proper operation.
• Diagnose pouring issues such as foaming, off-flavors, or pressure problems.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Communicate professionally with bar/restaurant staff during visits.
• Transport and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and service vehicle inventory.
• Install and commission new draft beer systems per manufacturer specs.
• Collaborate with clients and sales teams to resolve service requests.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Full-Time Draft Beer Service Technician.POSITION OVERVIEW:A Full-Time Draft Beer Service Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of draft beer systems. You will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform routine maintenance faucets, couplers, and related dispensing equipment.Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble draft system hardware to ensure proper operationEVENT Trailers - Clean Beer Lines - Perform routine maintenance faucets, couplers, and related dispensing equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot pouring issues such as foaming, off-flavors, or pressure problemsFollow all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling proceduresCommunicate professionally with bar, restaurant, and brewery staff during service visitsTransport and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and service vehicle inventoryIdentify opportunities for system repairs, upgrades, or preventative maintenanceRepresent the company in a professional manner while providing reliable, on-time serviceDiagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with draft beer systems, including line blockages, leaks, and pressure irregularities.Install and commission new draft beer systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.Collaborate with clients and sales teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of service requests and customer inquiries.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in refrigeration, plumbing, or related field preferred.Prior experience in draft beer system / installation, or repair is highly desirable.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and technical manuals.Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and team members as well as working independently.Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to client locations as needed.Must have reliable personal vehicle with valid auto insuranceAbility to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as required.Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and be able to move kegs that weigh close to 165 pounds.Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.Must be able to go up and down ramps and stairs frequently.This role requires constant indoor and outdoor work with frequent change in temperature.
