Job Description

To assist servers in any way possible to ensure proper, prompt, and courteous service to all guests.

Responsibilities

1. Knowledge of fine dining/ upscale service/ serving specifics.
2. Must have knowledge of all food menu offerings.
3. Must have strong communication skills.
4. Station set-up.
5. Stock needed supplies in side stations.
6. Get ice supply for side stations.
7. Dust all tables to include table legs.
8. Pick-up linen from laundry.
9. Check off and pick-up storeroom supplies.
10. Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silver, and glassware.
11. Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications.
12. Assist servers during meal periods.
13. Remove any extra settings.
14. Maintain coffee maker/urn, cappuccino machine, beverage machines, trays, dishware, silverware, glassware.
15. Ensure reach-in cooler is clean and organized.
16. Maintain cleanliness in the interior of the hotel, restaurant, and kitchen, with exposure to extreme temperatures.
17. Work in the exterior of the hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
18. Handle food and beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
19. Work with food items and beverages.
