Job Description

Assist servers to ensure proper, prompt, and courteous service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of fine dining/upscale service and serving specifics.
• Have knowledge of all food menu offerings.
• Maintain strong communication skills.
• Set up stations and stock needed supplies.
• Manage ice supply for side stations.
• Dust all tables, including table legs.
• Pick up linen from laundry.
• Check and pick up storeroom supplies.
• Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silverware, and glassware.
• Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged properly.
• Assist servers during meal periods and remove extra settings.
• Handle coffee makers, beverage machines, trays, dishware, silverware, and glassware.
• Keep the reach-in cooler clean and organized.
• Work in the hotel interior, restaurant, and kitchen, with exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
• Handle food and beverage cleaning chemicals safely.
