Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a remote Pharmacy Technician to support prescription resolution, transfer coordination, and system updates. You will work with physicians, hospitals, and retail pharmacies to ensure timely medication access.

Ideal candidates have a valid Pharmacy Technician license in TX, AZ, or OH and at least one year of retail/mail/hospital experience, with strong communication and accurate calculation skills for a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail, mail-order, or hospital pharmacy with inbound/outbound calls.
• Intermediate computer proficiency; comfortable with EHR and databases; able to perform accurate calculations.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the resident state (TX, AZ, or OH).
• Remote work setup with dedicated, quiet, secure home workspace and direct Ethernet/fiber connection; equipment provided.

Responsibilities

• Contact retail pharmacies to facilitate prescription transfers per patient outreach lists.
• Maintain a high outbound call volume, targeting five completed calls per hour.
• Process cancellations and other resolutions in the ePostRx system.
• Manage system updates with an administrative processing rate of 42 items per hour.
• Review prescriptions for incomplete/invalid issues preventing fulfillment.
• Communicate with physician offices/hospitals by telephone or fax to resolve issues.
• Research clarifications/denials on patient profiles within department parameters.
• Prioritize daily tasks independently while meeting quality/productivity targets.
