Job summary

Meta is seeking a senior architect to shape the networking datapath for DPUs, overseeing packet processing, offloads, and virtualization. You will decide which tasks run in datapath engines, firmware, or host software, and specify interfaces among them.

You will work with firmware, drivers, and software teams, and coordinate with design, DV, and PD to meet performance, power, and area constraints, using data-driven architectures and P4-based datapaths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years architecting networking datapaths and pipelines for NIC/DPU or comparable ASICs.
• Experience with SmartNIC/IPU/DPU architectures and datacenter networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Networking datapath for DPUs and related offloads.
• Define interfaces between datapath, firmware, and host software.
• Collaborate with firmware, driver, and software teams to ensure clean interfaces.
