Job summary

Auburn University invites applications for two twelve-month tenure-track faculty positions at Assistant/Associate Professor rank in the Physical Therapy program within the School of Kinesiology. The successful candidates will contribute to the Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum, engage in research, and help build a program focused on serving rural communities in Alabama.

• PhD/EdD/DSc in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Licensed or eligible for Alabama PT licensure.
• Evidence of teaching graduate courses.
• Record of research and publications in Physical Therapy.
• Commitment to the values and priorities of the College of Education.

Responsibilities

• Publish scholarly research in peer-reviewed outlets.
• Teach entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy courses.
• Advise and mentor graduate students.
• Direct student research including theses and dissertations.
• Participate in curricular changes for the program and school.
• Provide institutional and professional service as assigned by the department head.
• Engage in activities to support the well-being of the program, school, and college.
