Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Doctor of Physical Therapy faculty member to teach and coordinate coursework within the DPT curriculum. The role involves guiding immersive laboratory activities and supporting didactic instruction in assigned courses.

Candidates should have a DPT, an active PT license, and contemporary clinical experience. Ongoing professional development and ABPTS certifications are preferred. Strong organizational and deadline-driven skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current, active PT license in any US jurisdiction for licensed positions.
• Demonstrated content expertise appropriate for teaching responsibilities.
• Contemporary clinical experience preferred.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development preferred.
• ABPTS or other specialty certifications preferred when appropriate.
• CV, Letter of Interest addressing qualifications, and at least 3 references required.
• Unofficial transcripts and copies of required licenses/certifications.
• Completion of criminal history investigation and credential verification as required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate immersive laboratory experiences for DPT students.
• Assist with laboratory instruction and supervise activities.
• Teach didactic courses in Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum areas.
• Coordinate course administrative duties including grading.
• Load course content, assessments, and lecture modules.
• Meet with students and provide guidance on progress.
• Submit grades in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
