Description

Are you an experienced Dozer Operator who takes pride in safety and efficiency? Join our team to operate a D6 and D8 dozer for heavy civil project work in a Greenfield mine environment, moving waste and mineral materials to support site development. Essential Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently operate D6 and D8 track dozers with GPS to meet production targets.
2. Conduct pre-trip and walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
3. Maintain heavy equipment in good condition, reporting and logging maintenance needs.
4. Complete production reports and necessary documentation.
5. Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
6. Lead by example in safety and production, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one-year experience operating dozers in a surface mining environment.
• Knowledge of safe and productive operation of heavy mining equipment.
• Experience with Tremble and Earthworks is preferred.
• Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is an asset; training assistance available.
• Finish Dozer operating experience is highly preferred.

Work Conditions:

• This is an on-site position.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
