Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Dozer Operator for Scout Island, CO. The role involves operating a dozer and related equipment to support production operations on construction projects.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience operating haul trucks, dozers, and excavators with basic maintenance skills. Compliance with PPE, safety protocols, and company policies is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in light maintenance including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment to create finished products.
• Feeds materials into machines and transfers material between locations.
• Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections and identifies malfunctions.
• Performs light maintenance as needed.
• Operates dozer to shape pits and grade for drainage.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Attends safety toolbox talks and other meetings/events.
• Reports near misses or safety incidents promptly following procedures.
• Adheres to environmental and safety regulations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Dozer Operator operates a variety of equipment and performs multiple job functions in support of production operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines to create finished products.


• May feed materials into machines, and transfer material from one location to another.


• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair.


• May perform light maintenance.


• Operate dozer to create pit slopes and grade for drainage.


• Assists in keeping the work area clean and organized.


• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events.


• Reports near misses or other safety incidents or accidents promptly, and in accordance with proper procedures.


• Adheres to all environmental and safety regulations.


• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School diploma/GED Work

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience operating a haul truck, dozer, and excavator. Experience in light maintenance to include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.

Additional Requirements:

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
