Amrize is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator in Platte Valley, CO. You will operate dozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks for sand, gravel, stone used in Ready-mix and asphalt applications.

Daily inspections ensure safe operation and equipment is well-maintained. Candidates should have at least one year of related experience, be able to read and write, and demonstrate strong safety awareness.

• Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Excellent driving skills
• Strong safety-orientation

Responsabilités

• Operate various heavy equipment to load trucks and feed bins with aggregate materials.
• Maintain equipment and keep it clean and orderly.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times.
• Load material into bins, crushers, trucks, or plant.
• Move earth or other materials between locations.
• Perform visual inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete paperwork and assist with other duties as required.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Operates dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for the production of sand, gravel, stone used for Ready-mix and/or asphalt applications. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Operate various heavy equipment in order to loads trucks, feeds bins with various aggregate materials, maintain proper quantities of material to be loaded.
• Maintain equipment: Keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Safety: Performs daily inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times.
• Load material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant.
• Moves earth or other materials from one location to another.
• Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. May maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels or perform minor repairs as needed
• Completes are paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
