Job summary

The Downtown Partnership of Baltimore Inc is seeking a Public Space Maintenance Ambassador in Baltimore, MD. This full-time role includes outdoor cleaning, litter control, and driving duties as part of daily responsibilities.

Candidates should be 18+, hold a Maryland license, and be willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. DPOB offers extensive training, safety protocols, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Maryland driver’s license and reliable driving record are required/preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Remove litter and debris from streets, sidewalks, and public spaces.
• Sweep and clean public areas during shifts.
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste in designated pickup areas.
• Clean public furniture and infrastructure; report safety concerns.
• Operate cleaning equipment and PPE as trained.
• Assist with events, campaigns, and seasonal activities.
• Follow safety guidelines and report issues via established channels.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance as assigned.
