City of Boise is seeking a Downtown Lead Worker to operate a range of heavy equipment and lead a maintenance team across parks, downtown spaces, waterways and irrigation systems. This hands-on role includes training teammates and performing construction, landscaping, and seasonal projects.

The position requires a high school diploma and 4 years in park or facility maintenance, plus valid driver’s license and pesticide license eligibility within 6 months.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in facility and/or park maintenance.

Mansioni

• Operate backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, and other mid-size equipment.
• Provide daily guidance and training to team members.
• Perform construction, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Assist with irrigation and forestry-related duties when needed.
