Responsibilities

• Communicates with clients to keep them informed of case developments, including direct correspondence and reports.
• Prepares legal documents such as discovery documents, motions, pre-trial pleadings, briefs throughout the case life.
• Gathers evidence, conducts research, interviews clients and witnesses, prepares briefs, and develops strategy and arguments for defense or litigation.
• Attends and assists at trials.
• Conducts legal research and prepares memorandums.
• Plans and prepares trial aspects including witness examination and jury instructions.
• Prepares witnesses for deposition or trial and reviews significant documents.
