Securitas USA is seeking a Corporate Security Officer for a high-rise office in Downtown Houston. You will monitor and patrol to deter threats, control access, and respond to emergencies, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for tenants and staff.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in security or related fields, strong observation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in varying shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the property, including interior and exterior areas, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions.
• Control access points and verify credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, and incidents.
• Conduct routine foot patrols, requiring extended periods of walking and standing.
• Identify and report security risks, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and building management as needed.
