Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred).
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm, composed, and professional in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the property, interior and exterior areas, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions.
• Control access points and verify credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, and incidents.
• Conduct routine foot patrols, requiring extended periods of walking and standing.
• Identify and report security risks, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and building management as needed.

Schedule: Various Shifts Available (Full-Time Opportunities)
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and dependable Corporate Security Officer to support a high-rise corporate office in Downtown Houston. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.

The ideal candidate is proactive, vigilant, and highly reliable, with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
