Job summary

Park Cedar Rapids is seeking an Industrial Custodian to maintain downtown Cedar Rapids parking ramps and skywalks, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet DOT standards.

You will perform cleaning, light maintenance, operate snow removal equipment when needed, and assist customers. Prior janitorial experience is preferred, with reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT driving requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and good verbal communication.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in lobbies and skywalks.
• Clean high-touch surfaces and empty trash receptacles.
• Report maintenance issues and assist with light repairs as needed.
• Operate snow removal equipment during winter months.
• Provide friendly directions and information to customers.
