Job summary

Downtown San Diego Partnership is seeking Clean Ambassadors to provide cleaning services within the Clean & Safe program in the Downtown San Diego area. Under supervision, you will maintain sidewalks, parks, and public spaces and serve as the neighborhood liaison.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cleaning experience or equivalent.
• Hospitality experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Outstanding customer service skills, in person and electronically.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces, sidewalks, curbs, and parks by removing litter and servicing trash receptacles.
• Sweep and mop sidewalks and curbs, including removal of waste, to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Remove graffiti and stickers from public property and fixtures.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and businesses in a timely, professional manner.
• Conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and carts for safe operation.
• Perform duties safely and in accordance with policies and safety guidelines.

Skills
