Job summary

Bionova Scientific LLC in Fremont, CA seeks a motivated Scientist II, Purification Development, to advance downstream processes for monoclonal antibodies and other recombinant proteins. You will own projects across process development, troubleshooting, tech transfers, and client interactions in a collaborative, agile environment.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Biological Sciences or related disciplines.
Knowledge of protein purification processes (affinity, IEX, MMC, SEC, viral inactivation and filtration, depth filtration, TFF, UFDF).
Demonstrate strong oral and written technical communication.

Responsibilities

Support development, optimization, and validation of purification workflows and technology transfer.
Develop tools to enable scale-up and technology transfer.
Support multiple client projects in parallel for protein purification.
Collaborate with senior leadership on downstream purification processes.
Generate ideas for continuous improvement and internal capabilities.
