Job summary

Mammotome, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Downstream Product Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio to drive radiology and surgical portfolio marketing, maximize market adoption, and optimize pricing and promotion in line with sales goals.

You will partner with Sales, Clinical, Education, and Marketing Communications to create targeted campaigns and to ensure successful product launches, including the Controlled Market Release process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, sales or related field.
  • 3+ years in B2B marketing, medical device sales, medical device/pharma marketing, or related role.
  • 2+ years in product management with downstream marketing focus.
  • Healthcare/medical devices/pharma background is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing strategy for radiology and surgical portfolios, focusing on market penetration, revenue growth, pricing and promotion.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Education, Marketing Communications and other teams to align marketing with sales execution.
  • Develop targeted sales campaigns to support regional and national goals.
  • Oversee launches of new products, including Controlled Market Release and tool readiness for marketing and sales.
  • Represent North America in new product development discussions with market needs and customer feedback.

The Downstream Product Manager for Mammotome is responsible for the success of our radiology and surgical product lines by developing and executing targeted marketing strategies designed to maximize sales, profitability and procedure adoption. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, is part of the Americas Commercial Marketing Team, and is located onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies specifically for the radiology and surgical portfolios focusing on maximizing market penetration and revenue growth and inclusive of positioning, sales force engagement, pricing, and promotion.
  • Partner with Sales, Professional Education, Clinical, Marketing Communications, and other departments to identify and address any field challenges or opportunities, ensuring alignment between marketing strategies and sales execution.
  • Develop targeted sales campaigns and initiatives to support regional and national sales goals.
  • Oversee the effective launch of new products, including leading the Controlled Market Release process, ensuring smooth execution and that all marketing and sales tools are prepared and deployed.
  • Represent the North America region in new product development discussions, providing valuable input and forecasts based on market needs and customer feedback.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Up to 30% travel, including both domestic and international locations. Travel assignments typically range from 1-7 days with overnight stays. Requirements include walking, sitting, standing, and handling objects. Travel by car and air is necessary, with potential long wait times. Predominantly office-based work with a quiet to moderate noise level.

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, sales or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in B2B marketing, medical device sales, medical device or pharmaceutical marketing, or a related role.
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in product management with a focus on downstream marketing activities.
  • Background in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
  • MBA preferred.

Salary and Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
