Job summary

Zoetis is hiring for a Downstream Processing position in Lincoln, NE. The candidate will perform downstream processing of active biological ingredients, maintain a safe work environment, and learn filtration, concentration, centrifugation, and chromatography of bacterial antigens.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, GMP training, and strong communication skills, with 2nd shift hours (2:00pm–10:30pm) and potential overtime. Prior high school diploma required; Windows PC skills expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Windows-based PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment.
• Understand and comply with safety SOPs and MSDS guidelines.
• Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality.
• Learn and understand downstream processing techniques (centrifugation, concentration, sterile filtration, chromatography).
• Train in GMPs and demonstrate understanding and compliance.
• Read and report test results using scientific instruments.
• Operate, clean, and perform minor maintenance on equipment (fermentors, centrifuges, filtration units).
• Complete documentation including process worksheets and log sheets.
