Job summary

Catalent Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking Scientists in Downstream Process Development to advance purification processes for biologics. Based onsite in Madison, you will execute chromatographic and filtration experiments, optimize processes, and mentor junior staff while ensuring GDP-compliant documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technology transfer, and support product lifecycle development for monoclonal antibodies and related constructs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with process-scale chromatography and filtration.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting ÄKTA platforms and chromatography workstations.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform downstream purification experiments including chromatography, filtration, and TFF/DF.
• Lead design, optimization, and characterization of downstream purification for mAbs and bispecifics across the product lifecycle.
• Serve as technical lead for client development or transfer projects and communicate results clearly.
