Job summary

Avid Bioservices, Inc. is seeking a Downstream - Manufacturing Technical Specialist to drive transfer and execution of Downstream processes and to act as the primary contact for QA, MSAT, and Facility support.

The role supports transfer from MSAT to manufacturing, mentors MFG teams, and manages equipment lists and calibration schedules to ensure readiness for all downstream operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical/biomedical discipline with downstream focus.
• 4+ years in downstream manufacturing; 2+ years with MS degree.
• Experience with cGMP manufacturing in a biopharma setting.
• Hands-on with downstream equipment and process tech.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MFG to transfer and execute downstream processes.
• Serve as main contact for QA, MSAT, and Facility support.
• Lead training for Downstream Operators and support CAPA investigations.
• Maintain equipment list, calibration/PM schedules, and readiness.
