Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking a Downstream - Manufacturing Technical Specialist to collaborate with the MFG Supervisor/Manager to transfer and execute downstream processes and to serve as the main contact for QA, MSAT, and Facility. This role demands strong leadership and deep technical knowledge of scaling downstream operations.

You will support project transfers from MSAT to manufacturing, train MFG staff, maintain the equipment list and calibration/PM schedule, and coordinate

Qualifications

• 4+ years downstream manufacturing experience with BS; 2+ years with MS.
• Strong technical experience in downstream unit operations and cGMP manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with downstream equipment and process technologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MFG Supervisor/Manager to transfer and execute downstream processes.
• Serve as primary contact for QA, MSAT, and Facility for downstream technical support.
• Train MFG staff on technical procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain equipment list and calibration/PM schedule; ensure readiness with Facility and MSAT.
• Lead CAPA investigations and support manufacturing issue resolution.
• Review batch records and technical reports for accuracy and compliance.
