Job summary

HULK in Houston, TX seeks a Performance & Reliability Technician to lead refurbishment, DIFA, and downhole tool testing in a fast-paced shop environment. You will mentor junior technicians, ensure safety, and support inventory and shipping activities.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering to improve procedures and tooling, while maintaining quality and production goals in oilfield services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in artificial lift, downhole tool assembly, refurbishment, manufacturing, or related oilfield service work.
• Experience performing DIFA or mechanical troubleshooting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor technicians.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead downhole tool DIFA and refurbishment processes while meeting production goals and quality standards.
• Perform assembly and pressure testing for manufacturing production as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality test systems.
• Mentor Shop Technicians on assembly, refurbishment, safety practices, and procedures.
• Assist with daily shop operations including staging, tagging, storing, and organizing equipment and inventory.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound product shipments with delivery vendors and update company systems.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store returned inventory; support inventory cycle counts.
