Job summary

Halliburton in Ross, ND seeks an entry-level technician to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment. Under direct supervision, you’ll perform basic operations and complete paperwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, good math, reading and writing skills, and basic computer skills.

Forklift experience is a plus. This full-time role is aligned with Halliburton's Artificial Lift product service line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into duties.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.
• Receives cable and carries out basic tests.
• Performs basic repairs and learns how to splice cable.
• Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field.
