Job summary

Planet Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive revenue growth in the Department of War (DoW) portfolio. You will manage executive relationships, lead strategic growth across federal accounts, and collaborate with the Federal Growth Office to expand DoW opportunities.

The role requires a deep DoW/Federal services background, strong communication with senior executives, and a track record of delivering Microsoft-focused modernization programs across federal agencies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years supporting DoW or Federal civilian agencies through IT services, consulting, systems integration, cloud, or digital modernization programs
• 10+ years leading growth, account management, capture, delivery, or portfolio operations within Federal markets
• 5+ years owning financial performance, forecasting, pipeline development, or P&L management
• Experience delivering complex and varied technical solutions including those within the Microsoft sphere of influence
• Deep understanding of the federal procurement process and experience expanding programs within that framework

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prime contractors and subcontractor partners
• Collaborate with the Federal Growth Office to drive sales efforts and growth across key DoW accounts
• Achieve annual revenue and margin goals with year-over-year growth
• Develop strategic direction within DoW clients and contribute to the organization’s long-term strategy
• Rapidly assess, validate, and qualify new business opportunities within the DoD marketplace
