In this role you will be responsible for the operation of the Retail Line #2 case wrapper, priority one de-palletizer, and the Columbia palletizer. As the Douglas Operator at the Wayland location, you will be required to assist in the operation of the entire line and assist with size changeovers. You will also provide support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Operator must have the mechanical ability to perform necessary machine adjustments to obtain "Standards" in production.
Operator must have understanding of the quality requirement for the product with the ability to maintain accurate production records.
Must have a valid lift truck license. This person will be required to assist in the operation of the entire line and assist with size changeovers.
Responsible for maintaining a clean work area. Floors are to be kept clear of debris & trash must be placed in designated containers.
Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP'S, SOP's, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, foods safety programs and all other policies established by Bay Valley Foods.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position on 1st shift, working Monday through Friday.
Hourly base wage is 24.42
