Job summary

Voodoo Doughnut Austin is hiring Doughnuteers for part-time afternoon and evening shifts at our Sixth Street shop. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and sales area.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service or bakery experience, a valid food handler’s card, and a positive, professional work ethic. Must be 18+ and able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service or bakery experience preferred.
• Current food handler’s card indicating health code knowledge.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Demonstrate a superior work ethic.
• Basic math and kitchen skills.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent guest service and keeps the shop clean and organized.
• Takes and fulfills guest orders, processes payments, and handles cash accurately.
• Assists with food preparation and maintains sanitation per guidelines.
• Unloads deliveries and arranges stock using FIFO standards.
• Maintains equipment and supports team training with feedback.
• Communicates any safety or quality concerns to management.
