Job summary

Voodoo Doughnut in Tempe, AZ seeks doughnuteers for the closing shift. Availability 4pm to 3am and weekend availability are required; positions can be part-time or full-time depending on candidate preference.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, preparing doughnuts, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with a friendly team and have opportunities to grow within a fun, high-energy shop.

Qualifications

• Food handler's card indicating working knowledge of health code and safety regulations.
• One year of customer service or bakery experience preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Demonstrate a superior work ethic.
• Basic math and kitchen/cooking skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Handles allergens including soy, wheat, dairy, strawberries, and/or coconut.
• Able to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Sustained physical endurance and speed.
• Safely lifts and carries heavy objects up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Performs repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• Take and fulfill guest orders, process payments, and handle cash.
• Prepare high-quality, fresh-made doughnuts.
• Operate equipment such as fryers, warmers, mixers, and convection ovens.
• Maintain inventory and assist with food safety compliance.
• Respond to guest questions and assist with future orders.
• Attend team meetings and participate in training.
