Job summary

Urban Farmer is seeking a Mixer Operator to prepare dough batches by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients per approved recipes and schedules. The role supports the Master Mixer and team to maintain dough quality and steady batch flow to the line.

Must follow GMPs and safety guidelines, with a sign-on bonus of $2,500. Expect up to six workdays per week based on business needs; the position offers hourly pay between $18.00 and $26.00.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow recipe sheets, formulas, and written instructions with accuracy.
• Basic math skills, including weighing ingredients, unit conversion, and portioning.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with ingredient measurement, lot code tracking, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scale ingredients according to recipes and schedules.
• Operate mixers safely, monitor dough consistency and development.
• Perform basic dough quality checks and document batch details.
• Maintain sanitation and GMP compliance, record batch data, and assist with changeovers.
• Coordinate with Master Mixer and production team to ensure smooth batch flow.
