JOB SUMMARY

Thismastermixer positionis responsiblefor efficiently and accurately performing ingredient mixes. Individualmust worktogetherwithothermixingteammemberstoensureoptimum efficiencyandto promptlyreportanyconcerns.The master mixer is in charge of the mixer assigned as well as appropriately and accurately filling out that mixer’s paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Followspecificrecipesheetstomixingredients
• Weighoutdryandwetingredientsaccurately.
• Coordinatemixingprocesswithmixeroperators.
• Completeassignedtasksintimelyfashion
• MaintainappropriatePPEandsanitationprocedures
• Communicatemixerconcernspromptlytosupervisor.
• Ensurequalityspecificationsaremet.
• EnsurethatallSafetyrules,OSHArequirementsandCompanyPoliciesarefollowed.
• AllstaffareresponsibleforCompliancewithallGMP,FoodSafetyandPlantSafetyruleswhileinthe processing facility.Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift.
• OtherresponsibilitiesasassignedbyManagement.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifiedindividualsmustbe atleast18yearsoldtoworkinthefoodmanufacturingenvironment.Abilitytofollowwork instruction and maintain pace of mixing is required.Effective communication skills are needed to maintain batches. This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
