Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality's DoubleTree Albuquerque is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead facilities maintenance, oversee operations and ensure reliable, safe service.

You will manage maintenance staff, develop policies, coordinate with guests, and drive cost-effective solutions while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related field experience.
• Experience in hotel or related field is required; a trade license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Convey information and ideas clearly and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• Work with and understand financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.
