Job summary

Vintage Wellness & Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Medication Aide to support a resident-focused care team. Under the charge nurse, you will ensure timely and accurate med passes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The role requires clear English communication, prior patient care experience, and an active CMA certification. Full-time schedule with 6AM-10PM coverage and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care following policies and procedures.
• Employ preventative and restorative measures.
• Follows hand washing techniques and other infection control guidelines during the performance of patient care.
• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder, etc.
• Participates in all assigned meetings.
• Participates in all training, education or in-service as required.
• Inventory drugs, on the designated forms, as they arrive.

Job Summary

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will be under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

CLINICAL
