Job summary

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care in the DOU. You will educate patients and families and collaborate with the care team to uphold professional nursing standards.

The incumbent must hold a California license, have recent acute hospital experience, and demonstrate BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. The role offers full-time, 36 hours weekly, onsite work with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing with diploma, associate degree, or BSN.
• Current active license in the State of California.
• Recent health care experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Prefer 1-3 years experience within acute care within the last 18 months.
• Possesses and Maintains BLS, ACLS & NIHSSStroke Scale certifications.
• Cardiac Arrhythmia class.
• Critical Care course preferred.
• Basic Computer Skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates/provides nursing care for patients and participates in teaching for patients and families.
• Leads by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing practice.
