Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a DOT MOUNT LOADER for 2nd shift at the 4th Street location in Gettysburg, PA. Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am. Hourly pay is $20.98.

Responsibilities include operating tile mounting equipment and inspecting tiles for quality. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years manufacturing experience, and ability to read and understand basic English. Color differentiation and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing/production experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic English is required.
• Must differentiate colors and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate dot mount loading equipment and inspect tile for quality.
• Inspect and replace defective tiles on mounting boards.
• Ensure correct mounting of special patterns.
• Track production by SKU for each line.
• Monitor equipment and report issues to supervisor or maintenance.
• Follow SOPs and wear PPE.
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

This is a 2nd shift position working Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am at the 4th Street Location. The hourly rate of pay is $20.98.

Operates dot mount loading equipment and inspects tile for quality.

Major Functions and Scope:

• Operates equipment that sets tile from mounting board into plastisol.
• Inspects and replaces defective tile(s) in mounting boards and sets into plastisol.
• Understands and ensures correct mounting of special patterns.
• Tracks amount of production for each line by SKU.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor and/or maintenance.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protective equipment.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1-2 years previous manufacturing/production experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to read and understand basic English.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Ability to differentiate between colors.
• Ability to inspect high volume of tile sheets in a fast-pace environment.
