Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a qualified professional to support the Department of Transportation IT portfolio, CPIC, and investment management processes from our Washington, DC area office. Responsibilities include budget formulation and execution support, policy research, and data validation to drive informed IT decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience working in a matrixed team and responding to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of technical services in support of DOT’s IT portfolio, CPIC and investment management processes.
• Support IT budget formulation and IT data validation.
• Conduct research on government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget data.
• Track progress on workflows and develop meeting minutes.
• Prepare dashboards and reporting materials for IT spend plans and procurements.
• Respond to external (OMB) and internal (leadership) data calls.
• Maintain repository status reporting and documentation.

• You will also perform research on government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget formulation and execution IT data.

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".
• Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience.
• Work on-site at DOT HQ in Washington DC.
• Must be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.
• Understanding of how to prioritize tasks.
• Have background in financial management with the ability perform detailed analysis on IT budget formulation and execution data, attention to detail, work in a matrixed team.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience with OMB IT portfolio management and CPIC data, processes, and reporting.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
