Job summary

Guidehouse in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a management consultant to support the Department of Transportation's IT portfolio and CPIC processes. You will help formulate and execute IT budgets, perform financial analysis, and optimize business processes within a matrixed team.

This role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a Public Trust, and on-site work at the DOT HQ in Washington DC. You will track work, prepare dashboards, and respond to client data calls as part of a proactive,

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".
• Based on contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience.
• Work on-site at DOT HQ in Washington DC.
• Must be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.
• Understanding of how to prioritize tasks.
• Background in financial management with ability to perform detailed analysis on IT budget formulation and execution data, attention to detail, work in a matrixed team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of technical services in support of DOT’s IT portfolio, CPIC and investment management processes and functions, including DOT-Wide IT Portfolio Management Support.

• Business Process Reengineering
• Research on government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget formulation and execution IT data.
• Track progress on workflows
• Develop meeting minutes and track actions
• Perform document control
• Support reporting of IT formulation and execution data
• Be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs
• Respond to external (OMB) and internal (leadership) data calls
• Assist in regular reporting; perform analysis on IT Spend Plan and procurements
• Develop and maintain dashboard; prepare meeting materials
• Support status reporting; assist maintenance of repository

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
