Under general supervision, the DOT Delivery Driver loads the truck and delivers chemicals to the customer location in a safe manner following all laws, company policies, and customer policies. This position will ensure that the truck is in good working order by completing the pre-trip inspection, maintaining up-to-date logs and timesheets, and ensuring all shipping and vehicle documents are current.

• Delivers totes and drums of hazardous and nonhazardous materials from warehouse to customer locations.
• Pumps chemicals from totes on truck into chemical makeup tanks at customer locations.
• Performs minor maintenance on trucks and keeps trucks clean and washed.
• Operates forklifts, secures loads, and ensures proper documentation such as bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Delivers parts and materials as needed.
• Knowledge of precautions needed when exposed to H2S (hydrogen sulfide).
• Experience with warehouse duties including preventative maintenance, inventory management, chemical receiving, and organization for safe storage.
• Awareness of chemical safety measures, including spill response and skin contact precautions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous material handling.
• 1-3 years of truck driving experience.
• Willing to attain and maintain forklift certification.
