Job summary

Depot Connect International is seeking a DOT compliance coordinator in Channelview, TX to ensure drivers and vehicles meet federal and state regulations. You will manage driver files, drug and alcohol testing, and maintenance records while developing safety programs and preparing for audits.

Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules, excellent organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations (Hours of Service, driver qualifications, hazmat).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and FMCSA DataQ.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or compliance roles preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain driver qualification files (physical exams, licenses, insurance).
• Ensure regulatory adherence to Hours of Service and permits; manage drug/alcohol testing.
• Develop and deliver safety programs and driver training; perform evaluations.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance records; manage inspections and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare detailed records and support audits/investigations.
• Track compliance metrics and driver logs; report findings.
